As a parent, there is no one more important to your child's future success than you. As your child's teacher this year, I look forward to partnering with you on your child's academic and social development.

NEW! NEW! NEW! NEW! NEW! NEW! NEW!
I am trying something new this year. I have created another website that focuses solely on the math and language arts concepts that we are covering in class. It is intended to be used as a resource by students and parents so that I can demonstrate how these topics were taught in the classroom. This should be especially useful for math, as sometimes students forget certain procedures and/or the approach we are now taking with math instruction differs from the way that parents and guardians may have learned it.

Here are some other fantastic internet resources to help students succeed this year - for FREE!

All Toluca Lake students have premium access to Education City. This is a terrific site, so if your child lost their access code please contact me. ACCESS IS CURRENTLY PENDING
Each week students can play games and take practice tests with our current spelling and vocabulary words! If your child has misplaced his/her log-in information, please contact me.
This site isn't as user-friendly as it used to be, but students can access a wide variety of current event articles and take quizzes on them. The reading level can be adjusted to make it easier or more challenging, too!
The best online writing resource that I've found so far! Students sign in with their Google log-in.
Free online magazine with downloadable issues, covering a wide range of topics.
No way this amazing math resource should be free, but it is!
Many math-related videos that are fun and easy to understand.
Kid-friendly site about all things space-related!
Kid-friendly site about a diverse amount of science topics!
Fascinating!
YouTube channel hosted by John and Hank Green that offers an introduction to a wide range of topics.
Perhaps catering more to younger kids, but still a great resource for general info on many different topics.
Fun, free site where anyone can make music and save it with a web link. Super cool!
The following (mostly) math-related sites used to be awesome, but now I will just say they are worth checking out. Some are better than others.
